Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the old town, offering easy access to wonderful local restaurants.
The bathroom cleanliness could use improvement, particularly with some discoloration between the tiles.

Had pleasant stay in winter. The unit we got was nice and fine with a great view. The staff was very friendly and excellent, always there to help. The property's location was marvellous and unbeatable, to many restaurants in the old part of Briancon.

Booked triple room, had a really great stay by one night. I loved its view over mountain. The location was magnificent, next to the historic center, is worth a walk round on evening, and the centre of the old town. Spent a nice evening at Restaurant Chez Maria, located close to the venue.

We had a boss time here! The breakfast was spot on with a good range and a lovely view from the balcony over the old town. Only downside was the room felt a bit dated. But overall, dead sound place!

Hotel nicely decorated in local alpine style. Nice rooms with good view at the mountains around. Location very close to the old fortified town of Briancon.
Some of the hotel personnel were not friendly and in a case they were very rude ! They denied to give us a bottle of water saying that kitchen was closed. The previous night, a different person did serve us on the same request ... Very poor English making it difficult to get information. At dinner we ordered from a picture of the menu and we got a bit different plate. Parking at the back yard not that safe. At checkout, they had charged us more of those really consumed (number of breakfasts, bottle of waters) ... But after we noticed that at least they didn't argue.

The food in the restaurant was above average & value for money. Free wifi worked well.
Our first impressions on arrival were very poor. The receptionist was aggressive & rude, not allowing us to talk at all, & making no concessions to our poor French. Other hotel staff that we spoke to later were much more agreeable.

The view from the room was excellent, showcasing the surrounding mountains. I really enjoyed the breakfast options offered each morning.
I requested a quiet room but ended up facing the main road. The noise from traffic made it tough to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired, with some discoloration between the tiles, and the lack of air conditioning.

It was quiet area and staff was nice.
Breakfast for 8.5 euro's was not worth that value.

the hotel was in a nice location near the old city
As I have said previously the value for money of hotels in france just does not compare to those in Italy and Germany for the same money. This hotel could have done with a lick of paint and an updated appearance

The hotel Cristol is underwhelming. I requested a quiet room but was given one on a main road-so much for peace! Plus, no air conditioning, which woudl ve been tolerable, if only the room wasn't suffocatingly hot. The staff didn't even acknowledge my discomfort with a complimentary gesture. Absolutely disappointing, I almost wrote a good review but just couldn't.

The nearby old town was a hit, showcasing good restaurants. Plus, we loved the fine mountain view from our room. All in all, a spot worth visiting for family adventures!
In my wife's opinion, the bathroom cleanliness could be improved.

Had a blast with my friends! The location is awesome, just a short walk to the old center with plenty of restaurants around. Rooms have fine views!
The bathroom needed a bit more attention to cleanliness-noticeable brown parts between the tiles.
